Thanks to mr. Q! I'm sure TF will take real good care of this thread and entertain us with great pics! Just saw the Divine Nine -pic and that sunburst Deluxe just screams to me :) Mine is looking pretty good too, I must say ;)

Thanks all. Let's hope the avatar isn't a reflection of the quality to which I'll keep the S-100 Roster flame burning. Along with commending Qvart for his stellar work with the Roster, I am also indebted to him for sending me a t-shirt from the place he works after I commented that I liked it. Just saying thanks wasn't enough, so here's to you, Q!

Oh, and let me remind everyone of Pekka's electrified Guild-iliciousness. It's worth looking at again, both for quality of guitars and quality of guitar photography.

A lot of changes coming my way.

1973 S-200 is back in drc's mitts.

1975 mint green deluxe goes to forum member "cubis"

Memphis sold the 1977 carved back to me.

And there's another transaction in the mix … but I'll wait for an announcement from elsewhere on that one.

Thanks for the update. Sorry Hammer, but I'll wait until L.A. finishes updating his herd. Or maybe not.

Okay, here's my first attempt at updating the roster. Only one new guitar addition -- Hammer's '93 cherry first reissue -- and one new member addition -- cubis, who landed L.A.'s '75 chevy mint green DeLuxe. We also lost one member -- Memphis -- who sold his '77 nature boy Carved back to L.A., and L.A. also landed Qvart's '77 sunburst standard. When the dust settled, we were up to 96 S-100s on the roster.

I guess the cat is out of the bag, but The '77 is still en route to LA. It will be in good hands.

Looks good, TF!

Sorry, Q, if I leaked it out. LA told me about it this a.m., so I thought it was okay to update. I'm keeping you on Cool Kids Blue because you're the epitome of a Cool Kid, irregardless of how many S-100s you have.

Haha...thanks!

As for spilling the beans, they're LA's to spill (although I deleted the '77 from my signature a couple days ago just to see if anyone - read "YOU" - would notice). :wink-new:

You're a brave man to part with such a fine specimen, but like you said, it is ending up in good hands.

Hi everyone, new member from Ireland here. Big S-100 fan here, mainly thanks to Kim Thayil of Soundgarden! I'm a lefty so its hard to find them, I know a few 70's model turn up on Ebay every so often but I never got the chance to bid on one, but a few years back I tracked down a lefty black Guild S-100 reissue from a Canadian seller. I've never seen another black left handed S-100 reissue from this era. The original owner didnt play it much and treated it like a baby cos its pretty much mint! The original nickel Seymour Duncan's had tarnished badly, and I wanted to make the guitar look exactly like a 70's S-100 so I scored a pair of Chrome Guild SD-1 pickups on ebay, they sound and look great! The 5 ply pickguard has no bevel at all and dosen't stand out much on the guitar so I'm having one made right now by WD Music, I'll post more pics when I get it. The serial number is FB001130, does anyone know if this is 2000 or 2001? And has anyone here ever
seen another one of these lefty S-100's from the 00's? Thanks, Mick

A grand entrance, Mick6Srings. Welcome aboard! I believe you're our first southpaw S-100 owner. Others might chime in about the serial number, including the guy who wrote the book on Guild Guitars, our own Hans Moust.

Thanks Thunderface, its a honour and a pleasure to be here and part of the S-100 gang!
Hans confirmed the year of production as being 2000. Cheers!

Another sweet vintage Guild axe for LeonC! How have we kept you and this beauty off the S-100 Owners Roster until ... I update it again soon? Loved the videos, thanks again for sharing.

Early 70s badge truss rod cover and three-line Chesterfield ... NICE! (if you're into that sort of thing, which I clearly am!)

It was easy...I was MIA for a few years after my password got chopped up and lost in the bits and bytes of the old forum software. I gave up on trying to get back in under my username. I came back to LTG for the first time in a couple years a few days ago and happily found the newer version of the forum software. I was able to recover/reset my password and start using my old account again. So...I missed a lot of activity, but I'm back now. :D
