I suspect the guitar was intended to have an "American Deluxe" style neckplate.

Maybe the extra screws were added, because there wasn't a neck plate?:rolleyes:


The center hole with no screw? I don't know what that's about. However, I did own at least one bolt/screw on neck 80's Guild that had one of those holes. Maybe a CNC thing?

That small hole could be neck-angle adjusting screw access.

Or even trussrod screw access as in some past guitars.

Very elegant! And good thinking adding the washer -- you don't want the finish marrred by that huge nut.

Give the person some credit for their fashion sense.
At least they matched the finish on the bolt, nut and washer to that of the machines.

Drum stick neck break repair on Michael Schenker’s Flying V.
He said he’s broken it twice and each time it played even better after being repaired.
