Just sittin' around playing my '99 Fiesta Red M-70 ... it's a terrific little guitar IMHO ... anyhoo, I know that there were 5(?) colors, but how many were made in the two years (1999-2000?)? Thanks

No clue to your question, but that is a nice guitar! I never bonded with a 2000 Fiesta Red M-70 I had (too heavy for me), but boy do I love the look of these!

As guitar weight goes the M70 is one of the lighter "solid body" guitars that I played. I'm willing to bet they are lighter than a chambered Bluesbird but not as light as an Aristocrat or Freshman.
On the other hand the DeArmond M70 is one heavy plank solid body guitar.

Not sure how many colors were really shipped. But 5 sounds at least right as minimum. The 2000 catalog showed Seafoam Green, Daphne Blue, Fiesta Red and Black as standard colors. Also I have seen pictures of at least one in a like TV-Yellow which was called Vintage Blonde.

I've always wondered why that model didn't have a bound fingerboard.

Is that the stock pickguard, Steve?

Your strap is a great match to the guitar itself. NICE!

The pickguard on the M70 is clear. My M70 is the black model. Those white felt washers under the clear pickguard didn't do the black body any justice so I replaced them with black ones. My black ones are not felt but are a form of silicone rubber. Believe it or not they are parts from an antenna!
