I’ve decided that my life isn’t complete without a vintage Guild archtop. I have an early 2000s x-150 which has led me to love Guilds. So ultimately I want to work my way to even more special guitars. How hard will it be to find nice early style Guild a-150 and a-350 archtops? Of course a blonde is a dream but anything that has an attractive appearance in lovely (not perfect) condition will make me happy!

They are pretty uncommon. They do pop up from time to time, but if you run out of patience the Artist Award would be a good, albeit higher end, option. There are at least a few AAs for sale at any given time. Good luck with your hunt!

David, there's a 1968 A-150 for sale on Guitars'n Jazz website. Here's the URL:

Sadly that one is on hold and nearly completely spoken for. I missed the boat on that one. Should have bought it when I first saw it.
