Thanks for jumping in, Hans.
When I post the NGD thread, maybe you can elaborate. :smug:
Don't know if anyone has guessed this yet but from your signature I see you like F30's and Mini Jumbo Guilds which would have a 16" lower bout. The rarity you have mentioned along with the Rosewood, No Chesterfield, Dot inlays, 1994 production date, and a beautiful rosette would lead me to believe that it is a Beautiful Guild GV-70. Am I right?

Please tell me we won't have to wait long..... the suspense is killing me!! :emmersed:
That's why I had to jump on it.
Bingo! We have a winner of the triple G (Guild Guessing Game).
Good job tx! I thought for sure Al was gonna' nail it, but he had to check out early.
Yes, Beautiful Indeed! That's why I had to jump on it.
I did a search on the forum, and according to some posts by wileypickett, they sound as good as they look.
Congrats Rampside! Those are beautiful Guitars for sure. They have a subtle elegance to them with the beautiful shell inlaid "G" shield and simple dot fret markers. That was the top of the line model for the GV series of guitars. While the DV's and JV's went all the way up to the number 72 with the Turquoise, and Malachite inlays as well as the DV73 with the different inlays, the GV series topped out at the number 70 with the dots and "G" shield. These GV70 appointments almost seem like the pre-runner design to the later Nashville custom shop Finesse guitars. Best of luck to you and can't wait for the review and photos to come! That is a pretty special Guild my Friend.
