Craziest thing happened though, I've been trying to buy my old S60 from a friend and he calls today to tell me he's ready to sell. I think I'll be much happier with the 300. Who knows, maybe someday I'll get the S60 too.

Here's a strange thought - why not BOTH?

I don't have that kind of scratch sitting around. He wants $550 for the s60 with a bad refinish, replacement tuners, no case and some aftermarket pickup and pick guard. It was my first guitar but it'll take more money to get it close to where it was 16 years ago.
Next I have to shop around for a new head..I really want a single rectifier but I need to play some others before I decide.
