I had four Epi Masterbilts at one point. Three EF500's (in rosewood, maple, and mahogany) and an AJ500RC 12-fret slot-head. Loved them all, but I've moved on. I've just kept the EF500RAVS - rosewood, abalone, sunburst. It does have excellent tone.
But Sunday I played my two Guilds.
Oh, BTW, I just sold the 1939 Zenith. Glad that was taken off my hands.
Congrats on the sale .
Not sure if you remember but I EF500 I think that was the model a orchestra size but it the worst guitar ever lol I think it was run over by a truck then glued back together . The inlays where off , you see sunlight through the banding and much more lol it sounded like a cardboard box now this obviously was a very bad built and possibly a ah what so the that company that fixes the guitars again lol anyway never tried for another one .
I was thinking about a camp fire guitar and when I seen the AJ and played it I almost bought it .
