His daddy's no slouch either: Wrote "Hud", "The Last Picture Show", and "Terms of Endearment". But perhaps best known for the epic "Lonesome Dove".
The fruit didn't fall far from the tree. :D

He's playing with a capo at the 5th Fret (and using it upside down to play in Drop "D"), leaving the "E" string untouched. E, C#, F#, B, D#, A
Very nice tuning ! :wink:
