I like mechanical pencils and use one when I travel. Mine’s a Porsche.I prefer mechanical pencils and have an assortment. This is the one that lives between the function and number rows of my mechanical keyboard. It sees 90%+ of all my hand writing time. It is machined from a solid rod of Stainless Steel, they make them in Copper, Bronze, or Titanium as well. I generally prefer 0.5mm lead, but went with 0.7mm so my aging eyes can see it better

Yes, I have one of those for the Blackwings -- got to be sure to use every graphite molecule at $2.50 a pencil.
Pencil extender. I watched the video, kinda neat.

Not really. It just deserves the veer it's getting, Marc.Does this convo. belong in the mundane comments thread?
Pencil talk, you're on the air - go!
I'm also a mechanical pencil fan. These are probably the most run-of-the-mill mechanical pencils, but I love them, especially the .07 and .09. My wife uses them too and uses them for her design drawings.I prefer mechanical pencils and have an assortment. Yeah, the Pentels are awesome, jp. They're cheap and they work. I don't use them much, but I like them when I do.I'm also a mechanical pencil fan. My son, however, uses these crazy expensive precision German pencils that look like they were made in the future.

That's a very, very dangerous place for people with a pen/pencil "problem".
I went down the multi-pen rabbit hole with them and when I came back I had way too many.
My dad had several nice sets of Cross pens and pencils from his employer. Nice works of machinery, but they're too thin to hold comfortably.I'm saving up for when Cross Pens comes out with their Jerry tribute ballpoint.
For some. The skinniness is why I like them. For me, they're the most comfortable pens ever invented. Hate grappling with a fat pen. And the clip never weakens! Don't you hate that?My dad had several nice sets of Cross pens and pencils from his employer. Nice works of machinery, but they're too thin to hold comfortably.
Oh my goodness! The book is real, on Amazon, "How to Sharpen Pencils" by David Rees, and it is 224 pages long!A pencil can be shipped to this guy and he will sharpen it for you. Or buy one if his for $100 I can’t tell if this is a joke or for real.
