However, feedback (some of it overheard in a restaurant the next day by a member of the cast) was that the audience enjoyed it :D
Good on ya, Jerry.

I think peope are generally appreciative of folks who are willing to take the risk of being up on stage. I've never done any acting, but have been stage crew in some amateur musicals. I think "disasters" typically just add to the charm of the event.

If I'm correct, you're doing it all over again as I write this. I hope it goes well for you and you have lots of fun. :D

Didn't he say something about "all cats are gray in the dark", too?

Jerry - thanks for the story and glad you survived. It can only get better, right?

Glad to hear that things went better for you the second night.

I wouldn't expect even you to walk into a piano twice!

Graham on the other hand.

For a moment I thought the piano was Graham  Apparently some of the first night audience thought the fall up the stairs was deliberate

Like the old addage: If you're going to make a mistake, make it loud, and people will think it was supposed to be that way.

Beam him up Scotty!

Looks fabulous, Jerry. :D

Looks like you had a ball doing that.
You're gonna wear that at Arlington, right?

(So we can all recognize you, that is.)

As mentioned previously with Jim, I am looking to get boots - nothing fancydan - just good honest $h*tkickers which I will then get some hoss-sweat in down Bandera way to give them the right kudos  But I like my straw hat I bought in Oaxaca so not seeking to add a straw stet :!: I will be looking to buy 2 or 3 pairs of Levi 501 though - generally restock when in the States as they are a ridiculous price in the UK :(
