can anyone point me to a source to find out what a westerly jf-65 might be worth? ebay is a dead end, and i wouldn't necessarily trust that anyway.
thanks

southernGuild said:Hi Dmoss......I bought the JF-65 from Twocorgis, and am SOoooooooo glad I did. Man, ALOT of guitar for not alot of money really........worth every dollar. hard to believe that 1200 more or less, is their relative 'monitary'value...but indeed it is. Something so nice and beautiful for THAT! CRAZY market!

Great for buyers, not-so-great for sellers.
Took me a minnit, but:   :lol:jcwu said:Terry Allan Hall said:Guilds pretty much always sell for less than you'd figure, quality-wise.

That's why I only buy Guilds, and don't sell them.

They're asking $1999, which seems pretty outrageous (and explains why it's still there). If the price were more in line with what people have suggested in this thread, I might consign a mandolin to get it but at the present asking price, it's just way too steep. A new J-50 could probably be had for around that price.
