John Mayer’s traumatic guitar resuscitation

So, how many of you guys feel comfortable with attending your own favorite guitar’s vigorous makeover? I think I would need a Xanax cocktail beforehand.

Well I’m sure they’re not letting the new guy work on John Mayer’s guitar.

Honestly I’d be fascinated to watch but they’d probably kick me out for asking too many questions.

We had discussed that video a few years back already but it is always great watching again. The Martin Custom Shop luthiers know how to repair such valuable instruments. Great watching all the little tricks they use.
I also liked how they protected the headstock when putting new strings on.

I'd watch and learn for sure!! However, I think they charge you double when you attend your own repairs. I know I would.... all the incessant questions and interruptions!!
