You don't like the sound of the Martin?......

Yeah, so far it has been in line with the old say: "you get what you pay for"... but I'll hold on to it a little longer and give it another chance with different strings. The materials and the build quality is what impresses me the most, especially given it's origins, but the sound (which also has some degree of importance in a guitar  ) has come short so far.Ridgemont said:As far as the guitar goes, you are right in that is a little tinnier than the Martin. I will have to go back and listen to both to hear the differences though. Not bad for the price though.
Thanks Ridge.Ridgemont said:That is a fun song isn't it? It is way faster than what I am used to so I am still working on the speed. Super job my friend and great finger work.
Yup, I call it getting into the groove. I may have found my groove for the song in that many parts follow a pattern of 1,2,3_1,2,3_1,2,3. There are definitely a lot of different ways the song can be expressed. Its gotta be fast though to make it really fun. And that is my problem, sometimes my hands and my brain don't line up. Happens a lot. :lol:bluesypicky said:This number is F-A-S-T!!!! Takes a while before you can get it up to speed while having it to "flow" naturally (unlike in my quick set up version  ) Good workout indeed!
