Earlier this month, the Recording Academy presented a Liftetime Achievement Award to blues guitarist, Lightnin' Hopkins. Doyle Bramhall II and Gary Clark, Jr. played tribute as part of the ceremony. (Lightnin' Hopkins (RIP, 1982), Doyle Bramhall II, and Gary Clark, Jr. was/are native Texans. :))

Doyle plays left-handed on right-handed guitars. Nice Guild sunburst.......D25-12?

Great! :D

A very well deserved recognition to one of the greatest bluesman, IMHO.

And very well for the other two Texan guys, paying homage to the great Lightnin'!

Mr. Charlie.

Thanks Toni! :D

All the best,
B.

P.S. A cover of Mr. Charlie with a Guild!

I see back bracing through the sound hole and no neck fret markers so I'm going with a G-212SB
Ah, didn't even connect the dots on that one, Kurt. Could it be a G312SB? :? Or, did the G312 have different neck fret markers?

Whatever model, it sure is a nice burst! :)
