Looking for info Guild Acoustic

Finally after a few years (10+) I poped out my Guild from the closet.
Put on some new strings.
God it feels good to play again. Got to build up the finger tips.
Need some help with what I own.
It's a Guild 1973, S# 95275 with a Maple back.
Someone told me it might be a D 44??
Any help would be nice.

Hello bakyardman,

Welcome! Your Guild may very well be a D-44 and if you're sure it has a maple back it would most likely be a D-44M. However, there are more Guild guitars from that period with a maple back, so the best thing you can do is to post a photo. That way we don't have to guess as to what you have and we can answer your question properly.

Photos can be unreliable.

Best thing to do is to ship the guitar to me for a complete work through and analysis. In a few months I'll return it with a model number, age, and a few pointers...and I'll give you the LTG rate to boot. No need to thank me yet.
