Remarkably, within the last couple of days, I've had an email enquiry from a young woman who now owns an amp. that I built for John.

Of those mentioned, I only had interaction with John (Cap'n). I appreciated the time he took to share his knowledge here.

Can't express just how much I appreciated the Cap'n answering my stupid, novice, questions when I was in the muddle of my first build. Without Coastie, Default, and the good Cap'n I would have been up the creek without a paddle. Didn't know him well but I miss him like hell.

Had a fair amount of back and forth with both of them, but they were both gone before we had a chance to meet. I always enjoyed their insight.

I also got an email recently from somebody who just acquired a T1rvt amp. They ran across a thread of mine about my amp rebuild. The neat thing about the internet is that people are still benefitting from John's generous sharing of knowlege. I think that's pretty neat.
