Although I have moved from D'Addario to Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze on my acoustic with no regrets, I have used D'Addario EXL110W electric strings for decades. .10 - .46 with a wound third.

From the Ernie Ball web site:

Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings feature more projection and clarity than traditional bronze strings, while also providing improved corrosion resistance. Aluminum Bronze Acoustic strings are made with Ernie Ball Maraging Steel hex cores and Aluminum Bronze wrap wire which provide more pronounced lows coupled with crisp brilliant highs. Made from a blend of copper and aluminum specifically tailored for acoustic guitar strings.

WW, I really like light gauge strings, and they play great on the F-30. The guitar sounds great, very open, more volume than I expected with the smaller body. So going to the lighter gauge has not really bothered me in regard to volume. The EB Aluminum Bronze seem to last a while longer than the D'Addario's. I'm thinking this is their "version" of a string like D'Addario's Nickel Bronze.

The Ernie Ball Extra Light are .10 - .50. These are in between D'Addario Extra Light (.10 - .47) and D'Addario Custom Light (.11 - .52). This set up is not for everyone, but for me and how I play, the playability of the guitar is outstanding!
