Do any of you happen to have the physical dimensions of the "frequency tested" single coils that appear on some of the lower end Guilds in the mid-'60s? These show up on T-100s, S-50/S-100, M-65, etc., in between the Franz era and the smaller "Mickey Mouse" single coils.

Are these physically the same size as the 1960s anti-hum? And is the pickup surround the same size, both in terms of the pickup cut-out and the mounting holes in the top?

Any corroborating info would be appreciated.

Like this (this one has the fully chromed cover, but earlier ones have plastic tops):

i always thought a T-100D had two pickups.
and is that a nasty headstock repair? or just a reflection?

def would like to know the pickup ring dimensions.
i always wondered if a dearmond would cover the hole

They are close, but not the same. The Frequency Tested is approximately 2.9 x 1.2 inches and the Anti-Hum is 2.8 x 1.3 inches. I have no idea about depth, just length and width.

It does have 2 pups. And when I got it, it came in two pieces, the guitar…and the headstock, but not to toot my own horn, but this repair I did 25 yrs ago is about as good as it gets. I’ve had people literally stare at it, and they can’t see it, unless I point out exactly where.
What I think you were seeing from the front was the abrupt line of the generic truss rod cover that is much shorter than what should be there and is only held on by one screw.

Yep, I’m staring at it and honestly cannot see that repair. Amazing. Did it break that cleanly or did you also recreate the grain pattern?
