I've been really enjoying the music of Mikaela Davis for a couple of years now, since seeing her perform on KEXP with Bob Weir and the Wolf Brothers. I was excited to see this performance pop up on my recommended videos... and sure enough... a Newark Street Starfire II bass! Other videos I've seen of them, the bassist is playing a Rickenbacker and admittedly I've found that he gets better tones out of that instrument (to my ears) but the Starfire fits in very well too here. Does sound like he has the tone rolled off quite a bit.
Anyway, thought you all might enjoy it as well... not too often you come across a psychedelic folk rock band with a harp! Very talented group.
