well, in the interest of brevity, & since im the guy that kicks off the open mike
i dialed in my amp & equalizer at home, then gave it a quick tweak before i started.
sounded much better then last time when i ran my guitar thru the p.a.(we had to have
the gain all the way up which did nothing for the tone).
i'll probably continue to be lazy & do it this until i save up for a preamp.
my hat is off to all who gave me a heck of an education here.
