Hi all,

Another newbie here. Pictured is the greatest guitar I have ever owned. I bought this used around 15 years ago from the States for something in the region of $350 - $400, with OHSC. As it is "made to be played", it has been. A lot. It is still the first thing I would get from the house if it was on fire, then go back for the wife and son. I have a number of other guitars, but none come close to this. I don't know if I got a "good one", or if they are all this good! I need another to compare it to :)

Great photos of a beautiful guitar. It sounds like you got a good deal, too. I paid about the same for my 1983 D25, new.

Welcome to LTG! Yea, that’s a model that deservedly gets lots of love around here, and yours certainly did by the looks of it. I just put .13s on mine over the weekend and have been playing it since, great tones with mediums (y)

Stick around, we’ll help you get that comparison model :ROFLMAO:

Your '80 was built for 'em, a '97 was built for lights. My '96 gets choked off on mediums and really opens up with
Silk and Bronze strings. ;)

Hi all,

I need another to compare it to

Or a sound clip with the afore-mentioned Silk'n'bronze strings:
