Hi,
I recently purchased a 1965 (or so I'm told) CE-100D is amazing condition. I absolutely love this guitar. I have owned many Gibson hollowbodies previous to this guitar. It is far and away the best guitar of this type I have ever owned. I'd put the sound between a Gibby and a Gretsch. I love the neck pup and both pups together, the bridge pup is a bit thin sounding to me tho. If I provided the serial number could anyone tell me if this is really a '65? It ultimately doesn't matter, but I'm curious. The guitar has what appears to be an aluminum cast bridge. Is this stock? It's the only piece I'd consider changing. It a compensated bridge and the guitar plays remarkably in tune. I also LOVE the Guildsby. As long as it's used in moderation it does not effect tuning at all. I'm just knocked out by this guitar. Any info, tips, or advice is appreciated. Thanks!
