As a kid, my wife always heard it played a bit quicker. Probably based on more "mountain" styles of music.

At the top right of the suggested videos at the end of Tom's pick is this one. I have a thing for Nora's singing. And Bonnies.

I never get tired of Eva's voice.

And am forever amazed at her knack for modifying a melody or phrase, to make a song her own.

The older gentleman (Guy Van Duser) is a Boston-area fingerstyle player who teaches part time at Berklee. He was improvising (with only one notable clam), while accompanying a young fellow who is remarkably talented for his age:
