Awhile back, I posted about getting my first Guild, a 1978 D-25M. I was never able to capture and post any photographs of it, but now I have got one.

This is a picture of my three guitars. The Guild, a 1973 Martin D-35 that used to be my uncle's, and a 2005 Taylor 415.

So-o-o-o-o...the blood on the wall, behind the D25....is it from the Taylor or the Martin?

Yeah, sorry about the size, I don't really know how to edit it to a smaller picture and that one is already online.

Also about the mess, my roommate is an artist and paints indoors, namely using that wall the guitars are on as a place to hang his canvases when he paints.

Nice guitars. Big picture, tho...

Dave :D

We could make it fit by cropping out a couple of those guitars.

 I expected to catch some flak about the strings...I had just restringed it and had to photograph it for a homework assignment, that photo is pretty old now and it has been clipped, restrung and clipped, and restrung and clipped again since then, do not worry!

Save the picture to Photobucket. Then copy the IMG tag and paste that directly in the reply box here.
Photobucket automatically re-sizes over-size pictures down to 800x600.

Oh, and nice start to a full blown case of GAD (Guild acquisition Disorder) !!

Your D25 looks to be in far better cosmetic shape than mine. But ya can't hear the cosmetics, ya know?

I hear ya, but he wanted the other two in there, and so I just went with it in the interests of education.
Plus, if ya gotta have guitars other than Guilds, a Martin and a Taylor are pretty good choices!

Re: My Guild and other guitars

I'd like to say that I split my time of playing up between them equally, but it depends on what phase I'm in, as corny as that sounds. Recently I've been playing the Guild in standard tuning and the Taylor with every string dropped down 2 full steps. I went through a phase where I didn't play the Taylor at all, but have been getting back into it. As far as the Guild goes, since I got it, I have been playing it more than any of the three.
