I've got an '07 Tacoma-built D50 Bluegrass Special. In fact, I have three Tacoma 'built six stringers. The D-40's with Adriondack Spruce tops are 'Bluegrass Jubilee' models. Wish mine had that burst on it... Very, very nice... Congratulations...

You can expect it. Mine sounds that good tuned down. As a matter of fact if you're looking at you tube there are some additional demos on the New Hartford instruments. Especially check out the D55.

That's a beaut. The adi topped Tacoma D50 is currently my favorite guitar, has been for two years. When I bought mine I was looking for a burst, but they were nowhere to be found. Congrats.

I've got my D-50 BS tuned down also to some weird Zepplin tuning for Bron-y-Aur. I think it's C6...Even with old strings, it sounds tasty.
