Thanks Coastie for pointing these out to me.
I found the following on G-Base:
--the f212xl that has been at Willie’s for a while
--an ’05 f512; I’m looking for a 1970’s model
--a 1971 f212; I’d like an xl and this one has already had crack repairs
--a 1971 f212xl; I’ve never heard of brass pegs, are these common? The light reflecting around the bridge and soundhole make me wonder how wavy the guitar top is although the close-up picture of the bridge shows no evidence of this. In this same picture it appears that one of the digits in the serial # may have been written over. (This is the kind of stuff that sends up red flags for me)
Any comments, feedback, criticisms of my neurotic concerns are welcome.
Thanks again,
gilligan
