Hello everyone!

New member here. Just wanted to say hi and that I'm excited to be a part of the Guild community!

I got my first Guild about a week ago and I am in love! Always heard great things about the Guild name and am kicking myself for waiting this long to get my hands on one. Here is my Westerly-made Starfire II. Needless to say, I'm hooked. I can definitely see more in my future, maybe an acoustic next!

Welcome to LTG and congrats on your new Starfire! It's so sleek with the black finish. Enjoy!

Hi, OG!

That's a nice Fender-era Guild you've got there. Is it a Westerly or Corona build? You can tell by the label. I've played a few before, and they have nice substantial neck profiles and sound great. I like the cream-colored tuning buttons too. I have cream colored Waverly tuners on my T-100DP.

Nice to have you here, and welcome to the forum!

It's a westerly build. And thanks! The "cream-colored" buttons were my little personalization. They are actually made out of bone.

If that sounds and plays as nice as it looks, you found a real keeper. :)

You chose wisely. A black acoustic to join the Ottoman empire?

There was a super and silly cheap one posted not long ago.

PS Don't throw those original tuners buttons away, the white ones look too long, barely room for fingers.

Edit, the guitar sold, here.

Actually, I find the tuner buttons are quite comfortable(I did still keep the old ones though, just in case I ever want to go back). They are pretty much the same size as the ones they replaced, just with sharper corners.

As far as a black acoustic goes, I'm hoping to find a Black westerly made D-25 at some point.
