A little closer and I'd be all over it. Although, I would prefer a large headstock version. But, thanks for pointing it out! Maybe I'll post in the buy/sell section here and see if someone's got one they will part with.

Hello everyone!

New member here. Just wanted to say hi and that I'm excited to be a part of the Guild community!

I got my first Guild about a week ago and I am in love! Always heard great things about the Guild name and am kicking myself for waiting this long to get my hands on one. Here is my Westerly-made Starfire II. Needless to say, I'm hooked. I can definitely see more in my future, maybe an acoustic next!

I joined this group last November, and really enjoy the time I spend here. Great folks abound on this forum!

Like you, I came late to Guild; I bought a nice Guild classic guitar in the Navy around 1968, and really liked it, but sold it to a shipmate just before I was discharged in 1969. Shortly afterward, once a civilian again, I had the chance to play a Guild Artist Award that was in a local music store, and though I couldn't afford it, I never forgot it.
Suddenly last year, one fell out of the sky and landed on me, and that's when I got the bug. This place is a wonderful spot to learn all things Guild, for sure!

That's a very classy guitar you have! I've always had a thing for black electric guitars w/ chrome trim. Good choice!
