New Hartford D50-BG amazing sound

I happened into my local Guild dealer today and was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY by their first Guild-Hartford - a D50 Bluegrass.

I am not a "dreadnought guy" in my sonic preferences

but this D50 could make a believer out of me.

Deep THUMP on the bass notes, clear articulation on the trebles. Wonderful sound separation when played fingerstyle...and when strummed this box really has volume and overtones.

This was an "accidental encounter" as I had stopped in for something else.

If you have an opportunity to try a new D50, please do!

Nice to hear. I'm puzzled as to why Elderly Instruments didn't have any New Hartford Guilds :?

I had the same inpression of the Tacoma D-50's though - superb guitars!
