Hi everyone. Just wanted to drop in and say that it's great to be a Guild owner. I have been a part of the Heritage guitar forum for sometime and I love Heritage guitars--they are magnificent! Now, I have had the opportunity to discover how Great Guilds are as well. I had the opportunity recently to purchase my Dream Guitar--a Guild x-500T. It's a '94 Westerly Blonde. I honestly cannot find a scratch on it- I LOVE the p90s and it is beautifully dressed to the 9s! This is just a true work of art. I cannot imagine a more beautiful or well made git. I've also had the opp to check out some of the pics posted on this forum---WOW! The Starfires, 170s, 175s, 700s--Sunbursts, blondes, on and on---just beautiful!
Here's my new Big Girl--I just cannot say enought abt this Git---I'm a Blues player--w/ some Jazz/Rock in there too---And in every circumstance, this guitar does the job beyond expectation. Thanks for checking it out & great to be a part of things here!

Damn, those blond archies are so gorgeous!!!! Welcome aboard, and enjoy that beauty!

Thanks Chazmo--It is a BEAUTIFUL git---Thanks to Guild--All I did was pay for it. Guild has truly impressed me--I am honored to have the chance to play it! It's really cool to be here and get to hang out w/ other guild folks as well!

WOW!!! Beautiful axe, welcome to the Guild fold, and hope you have many more in your future. I have two blonde Guild archies, but neither one has a neck as pretty as yours.

Hello guildfan7,

Welcome! Good to hear you're excited about your new guitar, but I think that your guitar wasn't made during 1994 but at a much more recent date.

If you give me the serial number, I should be able to tell you when exactly your X-500T was made.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

Hi Hans

Thanks for the kind offer to date the x500t. The serial number is AK500053. I bought it as a consignment from Washington State just a few weeks ago. I posted this earlier, but somehow that post seems to have gotten lost. In any case, thank you for the offer. I also read your website and thoroughly enjoyed hearing about your guitar journey and your Guild quest. Thank you again for the kind offer and I will look forward to your findings.
