Just one of my many duties here at the nation's 17th largest newspaper is to make 45-second music clips of songs that run online with stories by our local music critic. Last week he dropped off the CD "Pop the Lock" by The Magnolias, their first album in 15 years. I liked it so much I got the entire CD and it is tremendous, 32 minutes of rock 'n' roll bliss. In fact, I'm listening to it as I post this.
