New pickups in a DeArmond Starfire

As much as I love the GoldTone pickups in the starfire, I'm feeling like a change and thinking of sticking some paf type humbuckers in there, like Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers or something.

Anyone done this to theirs and have any comments or suggestions?

I had Seth Lovers in a Guild Bluesbird and they were fantastic pickups. I usually opt for more boutique pickups, but those Seth Lovers were damn fine pickups.
