Here's more of what I believe to be some of the history of this guitar. I tracked down this guitar from a Facebook post several years ago and posted about it on LTG. The owner passed away and a relative took possession. I became friends on Facebook with his daughter. I gave AWAGNER her name and first dibs if she wanted to sell. She was very sentimental with her father's musical instruments. His name was Paul Ducker. He died at the age of 67 on July 2, 2019. The coincidence of the guitar coming from Smyrna and that being her home and the rarity of this model leads me to believe this is the same guitar.

The daughter told me her stepsister had the guitar and that she was waiting until the economy improved before selling it. But I was never able to connect with the stepsister and I did not feel right pressing the issue, given the circumstances.

Whether or not this is the same guitar doesn't really matter. I hope to acquire one of my own, since that will complete my DV-7x collection (all variants of the DV72, DV73, DV74 and DV76).

As an aside, my DV72 MK is Serial #DV7200128, 3 off of this one.

This was one of those split second decisions with little thought, questions or investigation on my part.
Sometimes that's just the way to do it. Looks like a beauty to me. Major congrats, Richard!
