This is the one from Guitar center Used site discussed in other thread.
It's definitely a keeper! They listed it as Excellent I would say it's good condition for a 30 year old git. Only a small binding cracked that looks like it got glued down. Other than that, it was probably played for a while and became a closet queen for a long time.
It is extremely similar tone wise to my 1997 JF55. Playability is good.
All in all a very solid addition to my stable, and for $1999. I'll probably post a demo video of this guitar soon.

Just threw this together real quick. Playing in upper registers like past 12th I realized there is significant dead spots due to hump where neck meets body. .probably just needs a fret level on that upper reg kind of a bummer but not too worrisome

That 14th fret "hump" could be a lot more serious. When that happened on my D18 David Crosby, it ended up needing a neck reset/fretboard planing/fret job, and it was expensive! You might want to get a professional opinion while you're still in the return period.

Thank you that's definitely something to consider. As it is now, it's okay as long as I stay 12th fret or lower. The neck angle itself looks about right w straight edge and it certainly plays fine except for upper 13th + frets. I might take it somewhere I'm pretty close to Merritt island where the westerly plant worker is but I've never been there before
