Wonderful Chazmo. Man look at the silky spruce on that baby! NH had such great wood. More pics when you get the time… Congrats!

Yeah, the top is gorgeous and silky. I've always liked the appointments on the Standard series -- the cream binding, rosewood fingerboard, faceplate, and bridge make for a really nice look.

The sides on this guitar are beautiful tiger-stripe and the back has some mild quilt to it.

You bet -- more pics soon.
Wow that looks mighty BIG and intimidating
Nah... Well, I'm a jumbo lover, so nothing new or intimidating to me. :)

Another guitar that makes one wonder, why would anyone part with it? Just broken in, too!

How does maple differ in tone from mahog? Never heard or played maple.
Hope you love it Chaz! Keep spreading the G.A.S.

Awesome! HNGD!, agreed that is very good looking, can’t wait for more pics. I think the jumbo is a must have for the guitar stable. Also good to see you keeping it in the LTG family, congratulations on a great purchase! 😀

OK, gang... What do you think? I had an extra Thalia TRC in koa... The flip side of it is rosewood (I think)... Do you like either / neither? The stock TRC that came with the guitar is black plastic... Can't make up my mind...

Fro, I've actually left it on the rosewood side for now. Yeah, they only put the shield on the koa side, but y'know... This looks pretty classy.

I think the plain NH Standard head stock will look great with a Thalia G shield TRC. I’d get one in a darker wood.
