Thanks for the kind words Tx.... It must be said (even though I'm preaching to the choir) that Tx is the real deal. As Guy Clark would say, "He's straight as a chalk line and right as a rule." This was a classic case of a transaction working the way it should. A win-win in every sense of the word. Make some beautiful music with that 12 string. I'm enjoying the heck out of the D55 SB

I appreciate the kind words as well Msbedard. I am so glad you are enjoying the D55! If you want to hear about a straight shooter let me tell you about MsBedard real quick and the kind of guy he is. He had the D55 in his possession since last Friday and called me when it arrived to let me know that everything arrived in great shape as it should have. The F512 was supposed to be delivered last Saturday but we all know "Harvey" got in the way. So I had contacted the post office and kept close tabs on the tracking number throughout Harvey. Yesterday morning I check the tracking number and it says that it finally arrived at my post office but it wouldn't be scheduled for delivery until today Friday. I didn't want to go down and pick it up on the off chance that it received some damage in the storm. I figure if they deliver it to the door and something is wrong then I stand a much better chance of the instrument being covered instead of them trying to say something happened to it between the post office and my house after I picked it up.

So I get a phone call from MsBedard around 1:00pm and he asks if I got it yet, I said No. He said it updated as out for delivery. At that time I here someone backing up in my driveway. Low and behold it was the Mail Lady with my guitar. I was in the middle of putting up groceries and getting ready to eat some lunch so I told MsBedard I would call him back after I got a chance to look at it.

I opened the box and everything was just as it should be. I called MsBedard back and told him it was all good and here is the kicker to this whole deal. He said, "Awesome, I finally get a chance to play the D55!". He waited a whole week to play the D55 that was in his possession until the F512 was delivered on the off chance that the F512 didn't make it as it should have. Folk's It doesn't get anymore "Straight Shooter" than that. I told him he better get started because he had at least a week of playing to catch up on with the D55. Awesome person to deal with and like I said earlier, I have No hesitation what so ever to send him a guitar without collateral in a trade again should we ever do that in the future. Enjoy that D55 my Friend, I am so glad she found a good home!

Thanks for the Congrats Ray! It was definitely a mutually beneficial trade in my opinion. I am a paid member of imageshack and have been for 3 years now. It is well worth the yearly fee to me to know that my photos are accessible and well taken care of. No issues with anyone holding my photos ransom or 250 ads needing to be blocked so I can actually see my images like photobucket used to do.

As far as an audio clip just step outside, you should be able to hear it from there! She is a cannon, LOL!:biggrin-new:

What a great story! Congratulations all around!

You lived through a devastating Hurricane
You made a sweet trade with a fellow LTG-er
You got a dream (Guild) guitar
The Postal Service "delivered", just like the Pony Express
You posted stunning guitar images
And the custom Truss Rod Cover was correctly installed
This is cause for celebration. I am thinking we all need to purchase a(nother) Guild.

I take it you didn't like "Wallbanger." :) I like "Lucky" and "Sunshine" too.

To be honest with ya Chaz I was so tired yesterday I forgot completely about it. I do like Wallbanger as in a Harvey Wallbanger, LOL! That is on the list as well! I had to keep reminding myself that yesterday was Friday, The days are all kind of running together at this point. Almost forgot today is the major opening day of College Football! Maybe I can get lost in a few ball games today and play the 12 string some more, That would be nice.

I have thought about getting my Buddy Scott to make me a Dream Catcher Truss rod cover with the inlay upside down on it so when the Truss Rod Cover is installed upside down the Dream Catcher is the right way up just to mess with all of the Truss Rod Cover police in these parts, LOL!:topsy_turvy:

Bwahahahaha!!!!! The TRC police are getting on and off their mounts, TX! What are we to make of an upside-down, customized TRC? I'm lost with no moral compass!!!! :)
