There was a sacred object in my home growing up. My mother and stepfather were working musicians playing in a duo. They did this to support us three kids. That aforementioned scared object was my stepfathers Starfire III. We weren't even so much as allowed to look sideways at it but it was always there on the stand as he taught guitar lessons from home as well.
They seperated when I was 16 and I never saw it again. Now in Australia where I'm from they're very, very hard to find, I've worked in several music shops and played for 35 years and have only ever come across 3, my stepdads being one.
Anyway after all that rambling I finally found a mint 65 Starfire III, this looks like it came of the line yesterday and my gosh the sound of those mini humbuckers........by far one of the nicest playing and sounding guitars I've ever played. It's certainly one of those once in a lifetime finds. Serial 42205
