Oh, I know, Ray, I've been practicing, practicing, been planning to include a vocal on a youtube piece that I was going to use the F512 on, but I'm thinking it's going to have to be JF30-12 'cause frankly I just like it better. I still haven't restrung the F212XL, and as it's tuned down a step, it's too low for the vocal. Standard pitch is almost too low as it is. One of these days, I keep saying.....Ah’hem ! Audio please ! Chop! Chop!

Just throw something together on the F212 ! I can barely remember the F512 haha did you demo that yet ? Geez what’s going on here ?

I just ran it into my DR-05. Turned out pretty bad. With it tuned down a whole step, I just can't hit it too hard. Not really a demo -- just part of a piece I've been playing for fun. You'll have to sing along -- Won't Back Down.

Yeah, New Hartford did not skimp on materials when they were building their Standard series models. Their primary goals were to speed up (and simplify) the time in the paint shop, and make the ornamentation binding/headstok simpler (less bling) and less time-intensive to make.
