Although I don’t play much electric, this deal was too good to pass up on.

Beautiful Gruhn-era guitar, apparently the second one produced (not counting prototypes). Other than the minor neck repair, the guitar is in near-mint cosmetic condition. Have not played it plugged in yet, but it is super comfortable, and you can tell that it is a top quality guitar.

Dave (drc) was great to deal with, and the guitar is actually better than advertised. Thanks to GAD for answering a lot of my questions.

Very nice!
But I must say that double cutaway acoustic got my attention as it is a much more limited model than the Nightbird. I forget the model name of that acoustic but it now has a great sibling!!

Studio 24! And I totally missed it there in the photo!

*** I almost posted "Studio 54", but it didn't look right! Duh!

That's another recent acquisition. Here's the NGD post for that one:

Congrats Andrew. Dave did a nice job on that one. Glad to see it staying in the family.

Good to know where it went, and to an LTGer.
I was so tempted by this guitar....
Enjoy!

Was a tempting deal for sure, as I always wanted a Nightbird. Glad it stayed in the group!
