NGD - Nightbird

Although I don’t play much electric, this deal was too good to pass up on.

Beautiful Gruhn-era guitar, apparently the second one produced (not counting prototypes). Other than the minor neck repair, the guitar is in near-mint cosmetic condition. Have not played it plugged in yet, but it is super comfortable, and you can tell that it is a top quality guitar.

Dave (drc) was great to deal with, and the guitar is actually better than advertised. Thanks to GAD for answering a lot of my questions.

But I must say that double cutaway acoustic got my attention as it is a much more limited model than the Nightbird. I forget the model name of that acoustic but it now has a great sibling!!

I was fortunate to acquire this guitar from our own John Kidder, who also sold me his D80 some time ago. Absolutely gorgeous guitar. Super comfortable to play. Very nice sound for a thin-bodied acoustic.
