Ha, no Tom, the box was normal sized, and guitar came as advertised! Here it is basking in the mornin sunshine:

It has been a joy to play too, was still in tune, the neck feels a little like my old Martin DM, not as slim as my D25, but it has a little heft to it, thought the specs said slim profile? Anyway I love the size of this body, compared to the M120 which is like a tiny toy guitar in my 6’4 frame, this fits well and still has some volume. Fairly balanced, but seems the bass notes stand out so far. It is higher frequency than the M120 for sure, need to compare to my D46 now, as that always seems brighter to my ears. Love it so far, and will definitely be registering it with Guild for warranty protection.

It does have two warts if you will, small little pockmarks on it, two at lower waist and the other in the upper bout above the fretboard:

Otherwise no issues with it, came well set up, action I haven’t measured yet, but it is 1 3/4 nut width and only 4.6 pounds. Recently had new strings and they seem decent so will use these to break it in, then on string change, I’ll polish it up and might try to pull the dings up and out with heat. Plugged it into my Marshall and got nothing, might need a battery, so gonna wait till string change to investigate electronics further, but overall I’m tickled pink, especially since their new Standards were just announced but with no F30 in the lineup, somehow I still got a brand new F30 standard lol, so for that the timing of this is special :)

Fantastic!
Super score!
Yeah, not sure what is up with the F30 not in the new line up.
Just makes yours that much sweeter.

Yowza. Great, Boneman! Congrats! 👍

A skilled luthier might be able to use the hot tip / steam technique to restore those small dents in the top. Not sure. But, that does look great.

I see a whitish line in the pickguard. Is that just a weirdness with the coloration or is there some damage there? I noticed that in the ad when you were shopping it, but figured it was nothing.
