Just received this one. Nice shape, plays well, action very good. Center seam separation but glued/cleated. A little musty odor but I'm working on it, not sure if it's the case (I think it is) or the guitar (don't think it is). Overall quite clean, nice EIR. Has DTAR Lock and Load electronics. Here's a few pics

HNGD! I had a brief affair with a Tacoma D55, and it had magical tone, but was also my most valuable when I had to sell, so off it went. I did have trouble with all that bling on the fretboard and determined I do better with dots lol.

Beautiful burst on this one. Real good looking guitar. Congrats Richard. How does this one compare in tone to some of your others?

This makes me want to get a more recent D-55 (with scalloped bracing) to go along with the '77 D-55 (straight braced) that I got from Richard.

There's number of videos on YouTube comparing the D-55 with the D-28 and D-41. Even Music Villa gives respect to the D-55 when comparing it to the D-28. I know you'll enjoy your D-55, Richard!
