Thanks! The Nightbird was an exciting guitar.. it’s maple/mahogany with the body routed substantially. This is an original Guild body that was never finished, and that is the project now! Here’s a pic of the
routing in the mahogany body and the carved maple cap.

Yes it is.. and as the originals had EMG’s fitted there was a battery in the control cavity too.. on my original just tucked away loose on a connector lead!

And the cavity cover was tortoiseshell lookalike!
