I finally got a 12 string acoustic electric a couple of weeks ago and I could not be more pleased. It's a Seagull 12 string, cedar top, laminated wild cherry back and sides, made by Godin out of Canada. Very sweet guitar, not fancy (reminds me of my Guild D-25 in that respect) but does the job very well. I hadn't realized how much fun a 12 string can be until playing with this one for the last couple of weeks. Very high quality, workmanship is spot on. On board pick up, under bridge, sounds great. My buddy with his Martin is quite impressed; I expect him to purchase one in the near future. If I tell you what I paid, you be astounded.
Now I'm looking at a Godin A6 Ultra, in Koa.
They even show and tell you where and how to mount the strap pin. How about that?
