Reading this thread reminds me of the fact that my D50 is soon to be coming back home from Nashville. I am ecstatic with anticipation. Especially in light of this thread and how well the Nashville repair shop is spoken of, both here on this forum and on the street. 8)

The guitar was shipped in the first part of October. I thought they had lost it and kind of got worried. :idea: It never occurred to me that there may be a backlog. I figured a few months, but didn't realize the volume of work they turn over in Nashville. It has been a long wait and I hopefully should see it in May. I've sent guitars back before but this time it has been a tough wait because the D50 was one of the few acoustic guitars that I've ever just instantly bonded with. The minute I played the first chord in the store I knew this one was mine. It just kind of found me.

I know exactly how you feel, Rich. My D50 is a huge part of me. I really hope that it will only be the 90 days that Thane quoted me, but if it takes longer there's not a whole lot I can do about it at this point.

Sure do! Like you, I'm a little funny with this guitar. Same story, too.
