[Appalachian Blues]

If you're a fan, you know OMD is Ozark Mountain Daredevils. In my opinion, one of the best bands if ever there was and in this day and age of sound-a-likes and look-a-likes, these guys were in a class of their own. I cover many of there tunes and folks dig them. Beauty in the River, Standing on the Rock, Road to Glory, It'll shine when it shines, Couldn't be better, Probably always will, Walkin' down the road, shoot, I could probably do a full set of OMD songs.
Saw these guys live at Marietta College back in the mid/late 70's. Chicken Train, now there's a uniquie song and E.E. Lawson.
Anyone else dig this classic band?

Certainly one of my faves, for sure. A couple of their tunes were among the very first songs I learned on the guitar and still enjoy playing "Standing on the Rock".
One of the local bar owners managed to bring them in, back in the eighties. It was one of those nights you don't forget.

Yep, Enjoyed them much in the day.................Still have that vinylwith ol'Granny on the cover, and a cd of greatest hits.
"Jackie Blue" is a magic song. I can time travel with that one! :soap: A good trip!
