Paint codes?

I have am M70 in need of body work and paint. Is there a specific paint code for Crimson red? I'm the worst at trying to match...well, anything I guess, but this time it's color!! Please see attached photos and let me know your thoughts.

If the color is Crimson Red, Fender listed that as _38 Crimson Reed Trans. (at least in the 2001 price list) so I'd imagine that's a question for Fender, though I'd be surprised if they were forthcoming with an answer.

Well, even if they pull their usual "play dumb" fun and games, at least I now have a clue to go in the right direction. Thank you very much!!
