I did a search and didn't seem to come up with a lot. I'm considering a pickup for the 1978 G37 and was curious about what folks are using for their maple Guild guitars. Preference is for the least invasive system with a pre to avoid batteries. My buddy swears by K and K but his Santa Cruz and Huss & Dalton boxes are rosewood/spruce. Lloyd Baggs is an old acquaintance and makes great stuff. This just makes me curious as to what folks are using for the special Guild guitars...the maple ones! 🥸🤣☝️👍❤️

I've never had a maple guitar, but I swear by Dazzos, a SBT passive pickup that can be tailored to your guitar. If your guitar is bright, you can get a darker set, or the wood body model. Run Dazzos through a SunnAudio pre amp and I think you will be very happy. I have now had seven sets of Dazzos. I bought a guitar with K&Ks and another with an Element, both long since changed to Dazzos. Ditch the need to EQ your guitar. Get that right from the pickup. Teddy Randazzo is pretty darn good at getting which pickup you need right the first time.
