Private Messages

It seems with the new forum it's very easy to miss if you have any private messages, so I just figured I'd toss it out there. Be sure to check them. I know I sent a couple that I don't think have been seen. I had one from Thunderface that had been sitting for at least a week.

Every time I get a PM, my "Notifications" up at the top right of my screen changes color and tells me exactly how many new messages I have. Does it not do that for you???

I was used to the email notification for PMs from the previous site. That was nice, but I am getting comfortable with the new system.

You do have to know to look for PMs.

If you like, you can go to settings -> general settings and configure a popup and/or email when you get PMs. That'll be a little more "in your face" if you like.

Like Tom, I get the "notification". Works fine for me.

I get email that I have a new PM. Gotta be a setting somewhere unless that is a feature of being a mod.

How about Settings->My Settings->General Settings and then select "Email Notification of New Private Messages" appropriately.
