Question about 98׳ JF30 which wasn’t US built

Hello, according to Hans (see here) the tag on this guitar which I got an offer on wasn’t really made in the US:



I got an offer of 1,000$, but since I know it wasn’t really made in the US...

Anyone has some reservations?

Update: on other thread (see here) i’ve seen the same sticker design and the guitar was from 89’ (eighty nine), Hans mentioned that.

Although this guitar is from 98’. That’s what the seller said.

Hans is talking about the Asian-Made "Westerly Collection" of guitars which Guild currently sells.

Your JF-55 was made in Westerly, Rhode Island. Make no mistake. Sorry for the confusion.

I think that's a good idea and a good price. I wish that Guild did not name the overseas made guitars after the Westerly factory since it really causes confusion.
