What about contacting him thru Reverb and letting him know you've been emailing him on Craigslist and to please contact you...since he has it listed locally he might let you come and see it.

Saddle height is not always a good neck angle indicator, particularly on Martin which use three bridge heights depending on the neck when new. Your string height could be fine with little saddle showing. I'd have no problem shaving the bridges on some of the thicker bridges I've seen on Martins in particular.

Reverb discourages that. I would've tried that next, though, if I were still trying to buy the guitar. (See below.)

No response. The price difference is so wide that I think he just grabbed the photos off the web and is pretending its his guitar, with a half-baked notion that he'll score. Somehow. Or maybe he's just an extreme space shot.

Anyhow, I Googled his name and found this: Will Werner

It might not be him, but Portland isn't a big city. Or it could be someone using his name. Regardless, too many red flags.
